Me and my wife where blessed to do the journey from uk rochester to cape town, through europe and down the east of africa in 2007.
What an awesome experience. God created such an amasing continent and we met so many lovely people along the way.
I hope that you and your family will have a simular experience. You are also welcome to stay at my parents :Ceder house B&B in Matlock, up in the peak district of uk. Sure they will treat you to a lekker boere braai.

When you get to the DRC, put John’s number on speed dial +243810340500. He is part of a national legal firm here. You might not need him, but the DRC is very different to any African country I have travelled in. They take corruption to guinness world record heights.
